This intersection is located N of Westminster. Drive 1.3 miles W on Rock Crusher Road. Turn right on Bunky Kelly Road and drive N 0.7 miles. Grave is located on the right side of the road on 1/2 of a small knoll. Latitude N 34 43.623 x Longitude W 83 05.921 CHURCH/CEMETERY HISTORY: ------------------------ Body remains were discovered when the County's road contractor bulldozed this road. (This should have immediately indicated to the operator that this small knoll he was cutting the knoll through, was a family cemetery and a different route should have been taken.) However, it is reported by a close living resident that the bones were simply thrown off to the side of the road and then covered with up dirt. James Hanson's grave was the only one that survived the road construction process. This action is in violation of South Carolina law!
